Bought this on a whim after seeing an ad. I genuinely did not expect it to work this well. Seven hours, unbroken. Every night. That hasn't happened in years.

Why You Can't Sleep
Most people who struggle with wired-tired sleep — exhausted, but lying awake with their mind running — don't have a melatonin deficiency. They have elevated cortisol at night. Cortisol is supposed to be low by 9pm so melatonin can rise and your nervous system can disengage. Under chronic stress, the HPA axis gets dysregulated and cortisol spikes when it should be falling. That's why you lie there exhausted but alert. That's why you wake at 3am for no reason.
Melatonin can't override cortisol. It just competes with it, poorly. Sleep hygiene helps a little but doesn't fix the mechanism. CLARIA works differently — it targets the three biological reasons sleep fails simultaneously.
Cortisol
KSM-66 Ashwagandha + Lemon Balm lower nighttime cortisol and cortisol sensitivity at the receptor level.
GABA
Magnesium Glycinate + Lemon Balm activate and extend the GABA signal — the nervous system's off switch.
Melatonin Synthesis
Tart Cherry + B6 support your body's own melatonin production rather than replacing it with a synthetic version.

CLARIA does not use proprietary blends. Every ingredient is named, every dose is published. Compare our doses against the clinical literature yourself — we use the same amounts the studies used.
What each ingredient does
What it does: Modulates the HPA axis to lower nighttime cortisol — the primary driver of wired-tired sleeplessness. KSM-66 at 600mg daily has been shown in double-blind placebo-controlled trials to reduce serum cortisol by up to 27.9%.
Why KSM-66 specifically: The most clinically studied ashwagandha extract on the market. Cold-processed from root only, standardised to ≥5% withanolides. Generic ashwagandha uses variable plant parts and variable standardisation — KSM-66 is the form the studies use.
What it does: Montmorency tart cherry is one of the few natural melatonin sources. Its polyphenols support the enzymes involved in melatonin biosynthesis — working with your body's own production cycle rather than replacing it.
Why not synthetic melatonin: Synthetic melatonin bypasses the body's signalling system, causing dependency, morning grogginess, and reduced effectiveness over time. Tart cherry supports the pathway so your body produces melatonin correctly — and sustainably.
What it does: Activates GABA receptors — the nervous system's inhibitory switch. Required for over 300 enzymatic processes including those that signal the body it's safe to rest. Measurably improves sleep onset latency, total sleep time, and early morning awakening.
Why glycinate: Magnesium oxide — the form in most supermarket supplements — has ~4% bioavailability. Magnesium glycinate has >80% bioavailability and causes no gastrointestinal side effects.
What it does: Inhibits GABA transaminase — the enzyme that breaks GABA down. By extending the GABA signal, lemon balm amplifies the calming effect of the nervous system's own chemistry. Also reduces cortisol sensitivity and is particularly effective at stopping the repetitive circular thinking that characterises wired-tired nights.
In combination: Lemon balm + magnesium glycinate target GABA from two directions simultaneously — one extends the signal, one activates the receptor.
What it does: Crosses the blood-brain barrier and increases alpha brain wave activity within 40 minutes. Alpha waves are the brain state of relaxed, non-drowsy calm — the state that precedes natural sleep onset.
It doesn't sedate: L-Theanine removes the obstacle to sleep without forcing drowsiness. You can feel calm and still function — it's not a sedative.
What it does: Required cofactor for converting tryptophan to serotonin, and serotonin to melatonin. Without adequate B6, the entire melatonin synthesis chain is inefficient regardless of what else you take. Also essential for GABA biosynthesis.
Why it closes the formula: The other five ingredients lower cortisol, activate GABA, and support melatonin pathways. B6 ensures the serotonin-to-melatonin conversion completes efficiently.

I've had broken sleep for three years. Melatonin made me groggy, magnesium did nothing. CLARIA is the first thing that's actually made a consistent difference — I fall asleep faster and I'm not waking at 3am anymore.

I was sceptical because I've spent a fortune on supplements that did nothing. Within a week of CLARIA I was sleeping through. My partner noticed before I did.

The quality of sleep has changed — not just the quantity. I wake up rested for the first time in years. The difference in how I function during the day is significant.

I've been exhausted for two years but could never stay asleep past 3am. Two weeks on CLARIA and I'm sleeping through. I feel like myself again for the first time in a long time.
